SPRING SUMMER COMPUTER CLASES

Learn about Cloud Computing using Google Apps

Thursdays, 11am-1pm or 4-6pm, April 20-June 22

Apps and Topics include:

  • What is Cloud Computing? What are Google Apps?
  • Gmail and Calendar, Maps-all connected!
  • Drive: create, share and STORE your files online-no more flash drives
  • Create documents, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Works on smartphones, laptops and tablets.

Basic Intermediate

Fridays, 11am-1pm or 4-6pm, April 21-June 23

  • Fun and useful project based course – using templates!
  • Business cards, invitations/announcements and more!
  • Intro to Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • For those with some beginner skills

Exploring your Smartphone

Tuesdays, 11am-1pm or 4-6pm, April 18-June 20

  • Android and Apple
  • No computer skills necessary

LONG TERM CARE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Earn College Credits.  No charge for eligible members who complete course(s) with grade C or better.

Program Description

Online Course-Work includes 4 eight-week online, self-paced college classes on the topics of:

  • Issues in Aging
  • Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Hospice and Palliative Care

Program Benefits

  • Earn 12 college credits (3 credits per course)
  • Introduction to collaborative online learning
  • Self-paced coursework
  • Career Counseling and On-going course support
