Due to COVID-19, the PCA Orientation Program, mandated by the collective bargaining agreement between the PCA Workforce Council and District 1199, is now being held online using Zoom.
All PCA’s hired between March 1st-July 31st, 2020, that are still currently employed, are required to complete an orientation before March 31st, 2021 as a condition of employment.
All PCAs hired between August 1st– December 31st, 2020, that are still currently employed, are required to complete an orientation before April 30th, 2021 as a condition of employment.
All PCA hired on or after January 1st, 2021 are required to complete an orientation within 90 days of the date of hire as a condition of employment.
Orientations are held most weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are available. *NOTE* You will receive a pre-registration email from the Training Fund staff the day before your session. Please click the pre-registration link and you will then receive a confirmation email from Zoom with the Meeting ID number. If you do not receive the confirmation email from Zoom, please check your JUNK MAIL as sometimes these Zoom meeting requests go to your junk mail. Please sign into Zoom 15 minutes before the orientation is to begin.
